Driver Education In the Classroom

Details: 30 HOUR IN-CLASS DRIVER ED COURSE Students wanting to take their 30 Hour Driver Education during the Fall Break in Canton can now enroll for the In-Class session starting September 15th through September 19th. 24th annual Riverfest arts and crafts festival
|
Details: The Service League of Cherokee County will present the 24th annual Riverfest arts and crafts festival from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 27, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 28, at Boling Park in Canton. The juried show features more than 200 arts and crafts exhibitors, entertainers, children's area activities and food. Admission is $5 for adults and free for children age 12 and younger. The League is more than 70 years old and uses all proceeds from the fund-raiser to serve the needy children of Cherokee County. The event will take place rain or shine. All areas will be handicap accessible. Free parking and shuttle services are available. Boling Park is on the banks of the Etowah River in Canton behind Cherokee High School. To get there, take Highway 575 to exit 16 to Highway 5 and follow the signs. For information, call (770) 704-5991 or visit the Web site at www.riverfest.org.
